Q. What is the difference between Pro and Standard version?
A. In addition to all the features of standard version, Smart
Protector Pro provides:
Scheduling. You can schedule your tasks in order to prevent the
possibility of forgetting to use the program and thus minimize the
danger for you. Scheduling includes three options: Run at Startup;
Run on close Internet Explorer (the last Internet Explorer) and Run
on shutdown of Windows.
Stealth Mode. When you use scheduling, you are confident that
everything will be erased without opening the program. Only you will
know what's going on. Only you will know what's going on. Use this
program to erase history and all the other tracks!
Cookie Manager. Smart Protector - Internet Tracks Eraser Pro
includes an integrated Cookie Manager, which you receive for free,
that enables you to decide which cookies to keep and which to erase.
This practice is useful as some of these files keep information that
helps you browse more easily sites that you often use and trust.
Emergency key. Just press Ctrl+Alt+Z or any other suitable
combination and you are safe. All Internet Explorers will be closed
and all the tracks will be erased in stealth mode. Take this program

Tracks left by other popular programs. Smart Protector erases the
recent files list for many popular programs such as Windows Media

Q. What is the purpose of Smart Protector?
A. SP prevents users' or intruders' access to your Internet
activity tracks by permanently erasing them. It's your personal
security manager.
Q. Which Operating System permissions do I need to install to use
Smart Protector?
A. No special permissions are required for Windows 95/98/ME user.
On Windows NT/2000/XP, you should log in as an Administrator or
Power user. You do not need special permission to use the software.
However, you must have "write" permissions on the specific objects
(files, folders) to destroy them, which is when your file is located
on an NTFS partition. You cannot destroy a file if you don't have
permission to access it.
Q. Can Smart Protector erase temporary files such as form cache
and browser Internet cookies?
A. Yes, Smart Protector can erase history, Temporary Internet
files, cookies, favorites, and whatever you specify in Smart
Protector Settings.
Q. Can Smart Protector permanently erase index.dat files that are
in the cookies and other folders?
A. Smart Protector erases contents of index.dat files, such as
temporary Internet files, history, and so forth. However, removing
this file itself is not possible because it's constantly in use by
the operating system. Index.dat files are erased by default. Just
select the appropriate check boxes in Smart Protector settings, such
as Cookies and Temporary Internet Files.
Q. Can Smart Protector preserve the history, start page, and
recent documents of people who have used the computer before me?
A. Yes. Smart Protector opens when you begin browsing and press
the Save State button. Smart Protector will automatically save
everything. When you finish browsing, open Smart Protector again and
press the Restore State button. It is as simple as that!
Q. I'm using an anonymous service, do I still need Smart
Protector?
A. Yes, of course. Smart Protector protects you from users having
direct access to your computer because you share one office or home.
Anonymous services will cloak your system from the Internet.
Q. Should my computer be connected to the Internet to use your
software?
A. No. You need a connection to the Internet only when you are
downloading the software.
Q. I have just purchased Smart Protector and can't find the
download area.
A. After the user has completed the online order form and the
credit card has been authorized, a temporary and unique download
link where the program can be downloaded immediately from our server
will be shown in the user's browser on the confirmation screen. We
assign each order a unique download link, which automatically
expires after 14 days. We also send customers the link via e-mail
for their documentation. Customers paying by other means, such as
cash or check, receive an email with the link only after we have
received payment in full.
Q. Can I get a license in another person's name?
A. Yes.
Q. How is Smart Protector different or better than other cleanup
utilities?
